Description
Over a map of the Mediterranean coast, from Marseille to St. Tropez, as elsewhere in the world: bombs. Cities destroyed, razed, erased from the map. India ink carves out the ruined city, the air heavy with stippled particles. The antique chart, yellowed and scorched, becomes a theater for human cruelty. When geopolitics crushes geography, or when rulers grind down their people for the profit of a few: Sous le vent noir (Under the Black Wind) stands as a manifesto of absurdity.
