Studio Notes

Final Sparks Before Marseille

These last days in the studio have been intense. Just before the fair, I wanted to push a little further: seven new ink drawings on book pages — a final burst before the wall.

Pages from Artaud, a treatise on bookmaking… The motifs intersect and echo one another. Wildness, chaos, brutality — the ink seems ready to overflow, to burst beyond the small formats.
Together, the drawings form an organic, almost visceral wall.

The booklets have arrived

They’ve just come back from the printer. Many thanks to Hélène Fincker and La Maison Abandonnée [Villa Cameline] for making this edition possible — it will accompany my work at Paréidolie.
