With Déflagration, Franck Saïssi continues his exploration of places in transition. This large-format oil on canvas (89 x 130 cm) depicts a devastated interior where classical structures seem to dissolve into a mineral vibration.

The work does not tell a story of destruction, but of the persistence of a presence. The light, developed through successive layers, restores dignity to the void and transforms abandonment into a space of pure contemplation.
