The Ink Bottle is a tangled situation, a thorny problem—sometimes seemingly impossible to solve. Through an ink bottle, even when empty, it’s hard to see clearly; yet sometimes just a few traces of ink can make things visible, allow some distance, and reveal the beginning of a solution. Whether stemming from the mind, inspired by nature, or echoing an emotion, the drawing fills a void. In the face of the absurdity of the world, this space of freedom is essential to my balance. Drawing, beyond the simple act on paper, is also a source of encounters and sharing—it gives a special flavor to life.
