Description
I met Sita in Italy, in an abbey where I was taking part in a collective exhibition.
She was radiant—acting in music videos and Bollywood films, directing short films. She lived in the fishermen’s quarter of Pondicherry.
With her, I discovered Delhi, South India, Indian cuisine, and the "Delhi belly."
She was a shooting star. Naturally, she slipped through my fingers.
She became the subject of my very first woodcut.
